Grady Buchanan is an institutional and risk-based asset allocation professional, most recently having worked with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation’s (WARF) $3B investment portfolio.
As an Investment Analyst at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation his focuses included private equity and venture capital initiatives including the vetting of venture capital firms to be considered for inclusion within the overall portfolio, in addition to helping the team in setting and implementing investment strategy and policy recommendations.
Seeing a need for an online social community to foster entrepreneurial ecosystem growth, Grady co-founded OmniValley. OmniValley is a closed network of institutional investors, venture capital firms, accelerators and ecosystem supporters, to connect under-ventured entrepreneurial ecosystems to sophisticated, strategic, and interested investors, sponsors, and mentors.
Prior to his work with WARF, Grady worked as an Investment and Treasury Analyst in positions with Northern Trust Corporation and Wells Fargo.
Grady spends his time as a mentor with BizStarts, a one-stop resource center that helps underrepresented entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses throughout the Milwaukee area.
Grady received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
