Marina Rostein is the Head of Platform at NVNG, based in Chicago.
Growing up in Chicago, she returned to the region in 2019 after nearly a decade in Washington, DC, where she pursued her undergraduate education at The George Washington University.
She entered the venture space after completing her MBA at UNC Chapel Hill. Marina started off her career in HR and benefits. She then served as OneTable’s inaugural DC Hub Manager, expanding the social dining startup’s presence across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Most recently she led Enterprise Marketing for a diagnostic company. Previously, she served as a Chicago:Blend Fellow, MBA Associate at VamosVentures, and fellow and scout for Alumni Ventures.
Marina sits on the board of JWI’s Board of Trustees, representing the voices of young women involved with the organization across the nation. JWI champions women and girls by preventing domestic violence and sexual abuse, advocating against gun violence, building pathways to long-term economic security, and strengthening access to leadership in our communities, workplaces, and country.
She also serves as an Advisory Board member at ALAS-WINGS, an organization dedicated to advocating for and improving the lives of breast cancer survivors. ALAS-WINGS focuses on education, mental health programs, and emotional support groups specifically for Hispanic/Latina women and their families.
Marina received a Bachelor’s in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and an MBA at UNC Chapel Hill.
