About +Venture Health

+Venture Health is a one-day, invitation-only gathering focused on the future of life sciences across the biotech and medtech sectors in Wisconsin. Hosted by NVNG Investment Advisors, this new event builds on the momentum of our flagship annual +Venture North conference, bringing together a slate of local, regional and national life sciences venture capital firms, Wisconsin-based startups, corporate innovation leaders, and top academic researchers.
Held at Element Hall in University Research Park, the day is designed for meaningful connection, in-depth discussions, and practical insight. Attendance is limited to 150 participants and will feature a single-track program of expert-led conversations and peer-level networking.
We’ll kick things off with a networking breakfast at 8:00 AM and wrap up at 4:00 PM.
We hope you’ll join us in shaping the next chapter of healthcare innovation in the Midwest.

Case Studies in Building Value

Licensing and acquisitions are avenues for firms to build their innovation portfolios. This session will review two local case studies of value creation completed in the past year, aimed at growing Wisconsin’s life sciences sector. We look forward to having the participants involved in those transactions share their experiences.

What’s Happening? A Look Inside our Research Universities

Wisconsin’s research universities invest over a billion dollars annually in finding solutions to global challenges. We’ve asked representatives to discuss some of the most compelling and interesting research being conducted on their campuses, particularly in the life sciences sector, which has become an integral part of their overall research agenda.

Venture Capital Takes its Turn

We’ve invited venture firms from across the country to Madison to learn about our most promising and talented individuals. Now, we’d like to hear from a group of them about the exciting and concerning tech and trends in the industry.

The “Big Question”

In what we hope to make a yearly tradition, we embark on a quest to ask a thought-provoking question and assemble a panel of experts from academia and industry to discuss. In this session, there are no answers, only intriguing possibilities. Stay tuned for the reveal of this year’s big question.

Highlighting Areas of Strength in the Ecosystem

Wisconsin’s biotech sector continues to thrive due to its robust research, thriving corporations, and increasingly prominent startups. In this session, we will explore areas of particular strength found in our State and speak to the people who are putting their industries on the map.

Building a Public Company in Wisconsin

Join us as one of Madison’s serial entrepreneurs takes us through his journey of building public companies in Madison including building for his third IPO experience.
